The National Liberal Party (NLP) has taken a significant step toward strengthening its governance by adopting a new constitution during its successful National Delegates Convention held on June 28, 2025, at The Woods Grounds, Kitui.
During the convention, members approved key amendments including the revocation of Chapter 7, Article 72.2(a) and the adoption of revised provisions concerning national officials and organs of the party.
The new constitution aims to enhance the party’s organizational framework and align its leadership structure with the needs of a modern political movement.
NLP members and the general public are encouraged to review the updated constitution, now available on the party’s official website www.nationalliberalparty.co.ke, or at any NLP office nationwide.
This reform marks a new chapter for the NLP as it seeks to strengthen internal democracy and improve service delivery to its supporters across the country.
